This can only be done thanks to our hard-working colleagues, who fabricate, assemble and test our detectors. We are looking for a new colleague to join us as a Production Technician, where you will be responsible for maintaining the quality standards of our product components, ensuring they meet our performance and reliability expectations.
What You Will Be Doing
As our Production Technician, your main responsibility will be the quality control of various components of our products and facilitating a smooth internal supply chain flow for the various Assembly teams. This requires a strong eye for details and high quality standards while working with high-tech components. As opportunities for improvements often present themselves in a dynamic work environment, you’ll be able to make suggestions for improvements in processes or ways of working.
Ideally, you will work full time and will be based at our HQ in Delft, contributing to our dynamic and friendly work environment!
Your main tasks include:
Key responsibilities of a person in this role include:
- Quality Control: Performing quality control checks to ensure that the various electronic components, optical fibers and other sub-assemblies meet specifications and quality standards. Using both visual inspection and measurements to gather feedback.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and when possible resolving issues that may arise with the various components.
- Administration and documentation: Maintaining detailed records of the various components and sub-assemblies and their quality control results.
- Collaboration: Working closely with engineers, technicians, procurement officers and other team members to troubleshoot problems, improve processes, and implement changes to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Workspace organization: Keeping the workplace organized to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
