Single Quantum designs and builds the world's fastest and most sensitive light detection systems, limited only by the laws of physics!
The quantum world is small but growing. We are a steadily-growing scale-up with an ever-expanding worldwide customer base. We provide our photon detection systems to a wide range of customers and research institutes. As we scale up further in the industry, we are constantly looking for ways to increase the efficiency in our business and operation processes. Therefore, we are looking for an Industrial Engineer to be a part of the newly established Industrialisation Team to drive the company forward.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As an Industrial Engineer, the main goal is to increase the efficiency and scalability of the business and operational processes. As Single Quantum grows in output, you will play a significant role in adapting operational processes to enable efficient and scalable operation. The role requires you to solve complex problems, for example, increasing the yield of our products. Additionally, you will play an important role in improving processes that includes cross departmental collaboration. This means that you will be responsible for addressing the challenges of improving and optimising processes while building strong relationships with other teams.

Ideally, you will work full time and will be based at our HQ in Delft, contributing to our dynamic and friendly work environment!

Your profile and requirements

We are looking for someone who has...

You have a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and/or Industrial Management, “Technische Bedrijfskunde” or other relevant technical field;
You have a continuous improvement mindset;
You have a solid background in production processes, preferably Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies;
You have an analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision making skills;
You have a strong communication skills;
You are a strong implementer, who excels in turning ideas into actionable plans and ensuring their successful execution;
You are result-driven.

The following are a plus:

Knowledge and skills in Python;
Knowledge in Business Administration or Business Management is a big plus;
Affinity in Physics or Photonics.
