Single Quantum (singlequantum.com) maakt 's werelds snelste en meest gevoelige lichtdetectiesystemen, die alleen worden beperkt door de wetten van de fysica!

Als scale-upbedrijf groeien we gestaag, zowel in omvang als in wereldwijde aanwezigheid. We zijn op zoek naar een nieuwe assemblagetechnicus om ons groeiende team te versterken, gevestigd in ons hoofdkantoor in Delft.

WAT GA JE DOEN
De belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden van iemand in deze functie zijn onder andere:

Assembleren, integreren en testen van cryostaten en besturingselektronica;
Solderen van elektrische kabels en connectoren;
Testen en valideren van printplaten (PCB's);
Metingen en tests uitvoeren op optische vezels;
Het routeren en organiseren van kabels en optische vezels met hoge precisie en aandacht voor detail.

Het werk wordt individueel gedaan, maar je werkt nauw samen met het assemblageteam en met de teams Optical Testing, Electronics en Mechanical Engineering.
Met de voortdurende verbeteringen en groei van de Superconducting Nanowire Single Photon Detector (SNSPD) ben je ook nauw betrokken bij nieuwe ontwikkelingen op het gebied van cryostaat- en elektronica-assemblage.

De cryostaten zijn het gezicht en het lichaam van onze producten; ze zijn het systeem dat alle componenten samenbindt, en de elektronica is het venster op onze producten. De elektronica regelt en leest niet alleen de detectoren uit, maar presenteert ook de gegevens in interfaces waarmee onze klanten kunnen communiceren. Daarom is de hoogst mogelijke kwaliteit vereist. Uiteindelijk levert je een fysiek product voor zowel commerciële als onderzoeksdoeleinden.

Jouw profiel

We zijn op zoek naar iemand die...

Graag met zijn handen werkt om dingen in elkaar te zetten en te laten werken;
Ervaring heeft met technische assemblage;
Een scherp oog heeft voor detail en kwaliteit;
Toegewijd is en niet bang is om verantwoordelijkheid te nemen
Vaardig is in zowel Engels als Nederlands.

De volgende werkervaringen zijn een pluspunt:

Bekendheid met vacuümtechnologieën en cryogene systemen;
Ervaring met solderen en elektronica-assemblage;
Ervaring met (3D) CAD-software;
Praktische ervaring in hightechproductie;
Eerdere werkervaring in een optisch laboratorium is een groot pluspunt.

As a scale- up company, we are growing steadily in both size and presence worldwide. We are looking for a new Assembly Technician to join our growing team, based at our headquarters in Delft.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Key responsibilities of a person in this role may include:

Assemble, integrate, and test cryostats and control electronics;
Perform soldering of electrical cables and connectors;
Test and validate printed circuit boards (PCBs);
Carry out measurements and testing on optical fibers;
Route and organize cables and optical fibers with high precision and attention to detail.

The work is done individually, but you will be working closely within the Assembly team and together with the Optical Testing, Electronics and Mechanical Engineering teams.

With ever-going improvements and growth of the Superconducting Nanowire Single Photon Detector (SNSPD), you are also heavily involved in new developments in cryostat and electronics assembly.

The cryostats are the face and body of our products; they are the system that binds all components together, and the electronics are the window into our products. Not only do the electronics control and read out the detectors, but they also present the data in interfaces for our customers to interact with. Therefore, the highest possible quality is required. In the end, you will deliver a physical product for both commercial and research purposes.

You will work full time and will be based at our HQ in Delft, contributing to our dynamic and friendly work environment!

Your profile and requirements

We are looking for someone who...

You like to work with your hands to assemble and get things working;
You have previous experience with technical assembly;
You have a strong eye for detail and quality;
You are committed, not afraid to take ownership
Proficient in both English and Dutch.

The following working experiences are a plus:

Familiarity with vacuum technologies and cryogenic systems;
Experience with soldering and in electronics assembly;
Experience with (3D) CAD software;
Hands-on experience in high-tech production;
Prior work in an optics lab is a big plus.
